The Bona sealer-and-finish system lets you mix any Bona sealer with the topcoat that fits the job, from busy family kitchens to restaurants and retail. Every finish here is waterborne and low VOC.
Two-component: the Traffic HD family
Bona Traffic HD
The most durable waterborne finish in the Bona system, with top-tier scuff, scratch and chemical resistance. It dries clear and colorless, so it shows the true color of stained or natural floors and won't yellow over time.
Sheens: extra matte, satin, semi-gloss, gloss

Bona Traffic HD RAW
An ultra-matte finish that keeps floors looking and feeling like raw, untreated wood, with Traffic HD durability. The low sheen looks the same from every angle.
Best for: the unfinished white oak look
Bona Traffic HD Anti-Slip
All the durability of Traffic HD with added slip resistance. Built for commercial spaces, stairs, kitchens and homes with older adults.
Best for: stairs, commercial, aging-in-place
One-component: no mixing, no waste
Bona Traffic GO
Bona's highest-performing one-component finish, with a built-in hardener that gives two-component durability without mixing. Very low VOC, with no added PFAS or isocyanates.
Sheens: commercial extra matte, satin, semi-gloss

Bona Mega ONE
A crystal-clear, fast-drying finish with high build. It won't amber on light floors, and it abrades easily, which makes it a strong first coat under a Traffic HD topcoat.

The proven value standard. An oxygen-crosslinking polyurethane that adds a warm, natural tone to the wood, with no pot life and no wasted finish.

An easy, forgiving one-component finish that goes on with a roller or T-bar and won't yellow.
Best for: budget-friendly residential jobs

The replacement hardener for Traffic HD finishes.

Bona Retarder
Slows drying for more working time in hot, dry conditions or on large floors, which helps prevent lap marks.

Install: Bona silane adhesives
One-component, silane-based adhesives that grab fast and stay elastic, so they move with the wood through Georgia's humid summers. All are zero VOC and GREENGUARD certified, and they clean off prefinished boards without harming the finish.
Bona Quantum R851
Our go-to glue-down adhesive for solid or engineered, prefinished or unfinished flooring. Strong green grab keeps boards in place, it's easy to trowel without arm fatigue, and floors are ready for foot traffic and furniture in about a day.

Bona R820
An economical silane adhesive built for engineered flooring. Strong initial grab and ridge stability hold boards in place, and an open time of up to 90 minutes gives you room to work. It trowels easily and wipes off prefinished floors without harming the finish.
Best for: engineered flooring, budget-conscious jobs

Bona Quantum Flow
A pourable adhesive that covers large areas fast with less fatigue. Same green grab as the rest of the Quantum line, and floors can be ready for traffic in as little as one day.
Best for: large open rooms, commercial glue-downs

The spreading tool made to pair with Quantum Flow for fast, even coverage across big floors.

Bona Quantum R850T
Silane adhesive in a caulk-gun sausage. Use it instead of face nailing on close-out rows, board replacements, stairs, risers and trim, or alongside nail-down installs to stop cracking and popping.
Coverage: about 60 linear ft per tube (¼" bead)

Sand: machines and abrasives
A flat floor with a clean scratch pattern is what makes the finish look right. Bona's machines are built with Kunzle & Tasin in Italy and are designed to connect to Bona dust containment for a cleaner jobsite.

Bona FlexiSand with Power Drive
A 16" rotary sander with a gear-driven, four-disc drive plate for direction-free sanding down to bare wood. It leaves a very flat floor with a fine scratch pattern and can cut edging time dramatically.

Bona Green Ceramic 8600 abrasives
Built specifically for wood floors, with a balanced mix of ceramic and aluminum oxide grit. Bona rates them to cut 30% faster and last up to 50% longer than competing ceramic abrasives, and the tough polyester backing helps them hold up on hard, difficult floors.

Seal: set the color and look
The sealer decides the final tone of the floor, from whitewashed to warm amber. Bona's waterborne sealers sand easily, dry fast, reduce side bonding and tannin bleed, and are nearly odorless and non-flammable. Each one works under any Bona waterborne finish.
Bona NordicSeal
A Scandinavian whitewashed look without stain or caustic bleach. It carries twice the white pigment of NaturalSeal, and extra coats build from a light wash to a stronger white.
Look: lightest, whitewashed

Bona NaturalSeal
Keeps the look and depth of freshly sanded, unfinished wood. A small amount of white pigment offsets the darkening a clear coat would add.

Bona ClearSeal
A clear sealer that brings out the natural color of the wood for a classic look. It replaces ClassicSeal and is a close match, just slightly lighter.

Bona IntenseSeal
A "wet look" sealer that works with each species' natural oils and resins to deepen its color. It also makes stain colors pop. Formerly sold as Bona DTS.

The warm amber tone of an oil-based finish in a waterborne sealer, and it won't keep yellowing or darkening with age. Works over stained and unstained floors.
