Type the room size and the waste you plan for. We round up to full cartons (25.5 sq ft for 3", 24.5 sq ft for 5"). Better a bundle too many than a row short: unopened in-stock leftovers come back free within 30 days at any of our six stores.

Is it solid or engineered?
Engineered: 3/8" thick, 5-ply, with a 2 mm oak wear layer (thick enough to sand and refinish later) and a smooth prefinished surface, backed by a 25-year residential warranty. Comes in 3" and 5" widths, in random lengths up to 4 ft. Cartons hold 25.5 sq ft (3") or 24.5 sq ft (5").
How does it go down?
Glue it down or staple it down, following the manufacturer's installation instructions. Gluing over a slab? We carry 12 adhesives, see them here.
Can it be sanded and refinished later?
Yes. It has a 2 mm wear layer, which leaves enough oak to sand and refinish it down the road. How many times depends on how deep each sanding goes, so ask a sales associate before you start.
