Shoe molding: the low-profile finish
A standard baseboard trim with a shallow profile. Shoe molding covers the expansion gap, dresses up existing baseboards and protects them from everyday wear, vacuums included. Stocked in the species that match the floors we sell.
White Primed Shoe
High-quality white primed Radiata pine, not finger-jointed, so it's much sturdier when handled and ready for paint straight off the rack.

Installed against walls or baseboards to cover expansion gaps. Its low, rounded profile makes it the go-to behind cabinets, at toe-kicks and around furniture built-ins.

High-quality white primed Radiata pine. Compared to finger-jointed quarter round, ours doesn't break easily when handled and is smooth, with no surface defects.

Used where one floor meets another. Reducers handle floors of different heights, T-moldings join floors at the same level, and thresholds finish doorways and edges depending on the layout.
Reducers
Step down from hardwood to a thinner floor such as tile, vinyl or carpet, with a smooth ramp instead of a trip edge.

T-Molding
Joins two floors at the same height, in doorways or long runs, while leaving room for expansion on both sides.

Finish the floor at sliding doors, exterior doors and other edges where the floor stops.

Stair nosing: floor to stair, cleanly
Creates a clean transition from the floor to the edge of the stairs. It has a rounded edge, sits flush with the floor and wraps over the first step, so landings and step-downs look finished and hold up to traffic.

Installed where the floor meets the wall, cove creates a smooth, concave transition while covering the expansion gap. A cleaner, more traditional alternative to shoe or quarter round.
